Hey Y'all!!!!

This week was awesome and went by way way too fast!
We had a good lesson with tiptap this Tuesday. Going over to her house is always so fun because she has the CUTEST little kids!!
We usually go over to teach her on our bike days because she lives pretty close by. In our lesson with her we talked about the blessings of reading the Book of Mormon everyday and getting that daily spiritual nourishment. We gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon that we had painted and highlighted some uplifting verses. To help her get into the habit of daily reading we challenged her everyday to flip open the Book of Mormon and pick out a highlighted verse and read it.
After we spent the day biking around and showing the new light the world video to members in our area
and we were biking to our dinner appointment and we were running a little late so we were biking pretty fast
♀️
♀️ and we biked over this uneven patch of sidewalk and my tire popped!!! So we had to walk our bikes home and take our car around instead.
On Wednesday there was MLC and we were going on exchanges after so we helped out with organizing and serving lunch
🥘
, and MLC went a little late so me and sister Adam's went ahead to our lesson we had planned with Chigonum, we taught him the restoration and he had some great questions and really seemed interested in learning more!
After our lesson we went back to the church and MLC was over and exchanges began, I went with Sister Dettman to Arlington!!! It was really fun, we got there just in time for our dinner appointment, it was so fun!
Then on Thursday we went back to mandarin and had a blitz exchange (basically that's when we're both in the same area with the STLS) so me and Sister Dettman went to the West Side of our area, and sister Adam's and sister Pasalt went to the east side of our area.
During that we found a potential named robbie who was really interested in the addiction recovery program. Overall it was a pretty chill exchange.
That night Janet had us over for dinner! Which was so awesome because we've been wanting to teach her for a while) we had a really cool discussion over dinner 🥧

🥗
about our own conversion to the church and how we know it's true. She also had some really good questions about Joseph Smith, it was a little all over the place because she had lots of questions and some didnt really relate to another. But it was a good start. Haha she told us as we were leaving that she has a whole list of questions she wants to ask us next time, so that'll be pretty cool!
After we had a super cool member present lesson with Mark at cold stones (this cool ice cream place

) we brought a member named Jordan with us and he and Mark totally hit it off, they were talking pretty much the whole time, and the whole time Jordan was bearing super powerful testimony of how the gospel has brought stability too his life and how God hears and answers our prayers, it was do cool!!
On Friday we finally got in touch with Becca again (she was referral from a while ago) unfortunately we couldn't stay there super long but we were able to read some of the Book of Mormon with her. Haha that was also the day we had apartment inspections (hopefully we passed)
Interviews with President Wood were this week!!! He is such an amazing president and a spiritual giant. I really do feel so loved by him, we had a great talk about working with members and personal revelation.
Chigonum and tiptap came to church!!! It was awesome so many people were so welcoming, especially to chigonum, we had members pick him up and drive him home after, one of our members even gave him a reading assignment! It was so cool!!!
I've really seen in the past week how key members are in missionary work. In more than half of our lessons we had members and it's so powerful to hear their testimonies and to see them get excited about missionary work!

My favorite thing i read this week was a talk by President (at the time Elder) Nelson called 'The Atonement'. I really liked how he incorporates principles from the plan of Salvation. I love the plan of Salvation because it helps us to understand the need for an atonement. All throughout the talk I kept thinking of the scripture 1 Corinthians 15:22
"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive."
We really are helpless without the atonement of Jesus Christ, it is his atoning sacrifice that saves us from physical death and spiritual death. I love this gospel and the peace that the plan of Salvation brings into our lives.
https://www.
I love each of you so much, thank you so much for all of your prayers and support
