Hello!!!!!!🐦🐦🐦

First week of the transfer!!! It's my 3rd transfer in Mandarin 2nd and I'm really glad I'm staying! The members here are so great and we've got a nice pool of people that we've been teaching. And I'm staying with Sister Adams, we've got high hopes for this transfer, we've set a goal to help reactivate 1 individual (or family) and to help 1 individual get a temple recommend and to have 1 of our people be baptized.

On Tuesday we dropped Sister Walling and Sister Cruz at the mandarin ward building for transfers and we picked up Sister Wesden because we were in a trio that day because sister Wesden's new companion wasn't going to get there until later in the day. It was so fun!! I love trios!!! We all went to chick fil a for lunch with a bunch of other sisters who were at the church building for transfers, I pretty sure I'm low-key addicted to their waffle fries🍟🍟🍟🍟

We had a bunch of cool miracles this week! We finally got in touch with Narada and Danielle and their family a d invited them to our ward Halloween party and chilli cook off! We were also able to finally get in touch with Boni, we had a great lesson with her on Tuesday about the atonement, it was a really cool lesson, we read the parable of the push-ups with her.

We also met a super solid new person this week! Named Beverly! She's a referral from a member and we were able to have a lesson with her with the member there. Beverly has been going through a lot of trials in her life so went over and taught her the plan of Salvation.

On Thursday our zone met at the mandarin building because our zone had been chosen to participate in this mission survey. It was pretty cool because our mission was one of the 6 missions that they picked for this survey. It was pretty cool, kinda felt like a secret combination meeting lol jk, but we all met in this room and just talked about our mission experiences and why we chose to serve a mission.

This Sunday was the best!!! Because it was the primary presentation!!!!!!!!!!!!🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈 definitely one of the best Sundays of the year. Our ward has a pretty small primary, so there was almost as many leaders as there was kids on the stand. I loved it!!!!! It reminded me of when I used to be the primary chorister and how much fun i had in that calling, although I admit it was pretty nice to just watch and enjoy it this year😊

My favorite thing i studied this week was a talk by Elaine L. Jack called 'Get a Life' I really liked it because it emphasizes the joy we can find in the righteous use of our agency, and that to choose the Lord is to choose life. I really liked it because I've really seen power in choosing to find joy in our circumstances. There is a quote in the talk that I especially liked:

"Looking at a freshly mowed lawn, a completed family group sheet, a photocopied dissertation, loaves of perfect homemade bread, a washed and polished car, a poem just written with an elegant turn of phrase, or an exam well taken and then reflecting that it is good—these are some of the most satisfying experiences of life. Life at its best is in these moments. We’re rejoicing in the harvest and reaffirming that we are indeed made in our Creator’s likeness, for he, too, paused after his six days of labor, looked on everything that he had made, and saw that it was good. Rejoicing in the harvest goes hand in hand with acknowledging our Creator. One who looks at a full granary and remembers the plowing time, the planting time, the weeding time, and the gathering time must also remember the miracle beyond his own power that brought that seed to fruition."

I know that as we follow the Savior we can have joy in our work as He has joy in his work, I love y'all so much!
